Our PSHE Wellbeing Week has been a success and the pupils have enjoyed the challenges. Classes have been reflecting, meditating and considering ways of looking after their mental health. Steve Hoare started the week with an assembly about the importance of sleep – the cornerstone to maintaining good health. This was followed by exercise / circuit training activities designed to promote strength and fitness. Mrs Brough delivered a fantastic HeartStart programme to all of the classes and the Year 6s especially enjoyed learning about CPR using the resuscitation dolls. The Life Education team is visiting school on Thursday to deliver sessions about online safety and digital health, and the class teachers will be finishing the week with RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) sessions. Thank you to all involved and Miss Morris for planning our week.
