Diwali 2022
As part of the infants Diwali topic the Hedgehog and Otter Class joined together for a morning's celebrations making traditional Diwali crafts, stories, baking and sitting down to taste the wonderful cuisine of Indian food. A great morning was had by all!
Opening of the prayer garden.
Arnside National C of E Schools Ethos team planned, developed and created a school prayer area within the school grounds. This involved the whole school; every child decorated a stone to represent one of our star qualities or something else that is important to them. Once completed we invited Father Andrew to officially open our very special area. The prayer area has proved to be a great success, the children enjoy having this lovely, quiet space for them to have time to reflect and think.
Year 6 Visit to St Paul's Cathedral.
Year 6 had an amazing visit to St Paul's Cathedral in London. They got a certificate in recognition of outstanding enthusiasm, behaviour and knowledge. Well done guys!
