The Children's Act 2004 states - Every Child Matters

  • Make a positive contribution

Roles and responsibilities:

All our staff in school receive regular training for safeguarding. If staff have concerns, they have a duty to inform either Mr N Sharp (Headteacher) or Ms J Piper (Deputy Headteacher).

Mr N Sharp - Headteacher - Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Ms J Piper - Deputy Headteacher - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)

Effective safeguarding is the responsibility of the Governing Body.  

The nominated Governor for Safeguarding & Child Protection is Andrew Norman.

Our policies for Safeguarding and Child Protection can be requested from the school office or accessed from the school website.
