As part of our topic 'The great big garden birds watch', the children had a very exciting trip on the train to Leighton Moss Bird Reserve in Silverdale. We looked at different types of birds in their habitat, investigated different types of birds nests, made our own large nest for an Ostrich egg and climbed the very large look out tower. What a fantastic morning!
